Ashley Annie

Well, its always fun shooting someone you know. It gets even more fun when they want to shoot with you!! So we venture out back to that pretty nice place that I'm bound to over shoot, and set up. Ashley proved to be a beautiful model, as she has done over and over in times past. And well, here we go!

Amanda

Wel, this is the first time that all of my equipment actually worked together. My newly acquired Canon 5D Mark I is a really big upgrade from the 40D. The 580EX Mark I flashgun was amazing and had no interference with the pocketwizards that I was using. Overall the shoot was fun and went well. I shot with Canico Studio's Trevon Angulo and produced some nice pictures, he's been doing some fun stuff as well on his side of the photo world.

Trevon lit in the natural light, Amanda in the artificial. I laughed.

Telling people what to do never really was my strong point. I'm glad that the pictures can't tell you what happened in order to get the pictures.

These are natural light pictures. That train was butt freaking slow.... and then it stopped... end of story.

The sky was actually really dang nice today. The weather warmed up enough to shoot comfortably, if not a little on the hot end of things. The clouds were photogenic for sure today.

Finally, a cooperative flash that produces a pretty dang good effect. For being the first time using this, I felt like I man handled it like a pro... without pro gear...

This is one of my favorites, as well as the bottom one of the picture above.
This picture kind of shows my tendency to use the right side of the frame. I'm kinda quirky like that I guess.

And all the colorful versions need to go somewhere. I wanted to go more natural today, and felt like it worked out!

Different styles are fun, Trevon heads Canico Studios, and he can be found at
http://www.facebook.com/CanicoStudios
His style, although different than mine, helps me appreciate the variety of beauty as seen by others. He's really good as well, much more creative than myself.

3 years later...

So, this is Alycia. I shot her pretty dang long ago. It was fun to finally go back and work with her. This is probably the first time I've ever told someone to actually do something and to move and stuff. I think it went well :)

When she came over before the shoot, I told her that my roommate will probably ask me if I'm going to date you. I got home with her, they met, and promptly after she left, he asked the question. Apparently, I want to date all the girls that I take pictures of.

This one is just for kicks... I found it as a literall LoL.

My TT5 and Mini TT1 were on and off today... only a few came out with the flash actually firing

Basically, she was great to shoot, really fun for sure, and there are some fun pics that turned out! In this last one, she wants to dye her hair red... I'm sure it'll be this color red. :)

Oldies but goodies

The gorgeous Brittany.

Juliet's Blessing

Todd and Karalee Garber and their blessed Juliet.
The Garber Family... showing their personalities.

The scrumptious Juliet!!

A shot for the parents

They gave these to the wife's parents for Christmas :) alright, so maybe not all of them.

I should sleep...

I heart eyes.

My favorite eye.
On the way home from UT, a nice dodge challenger and an open freeway make their way into my head.
Byron making one of his thousand faces.

What to do with 20 minutes...

Got a few random shots off with Dillon before things he got snagged by his fam... kind of fun
